Nice place for an evening meal, the location is very atmospheric, perfect for a quiet meal alone or romantic night out with a partner. As the name suggests there is a good variety of meat. The special when I visited was a tomahawk steak. Staff are very friendly and the place is very well done. Only 4 stars as my chicken and leek pie had a flavour I hadn't expected in it. Admittedly that could 100% be my pallette so please judge the food for yourself. I imagine if I'd had a steak of some sort it would have been 5 stars.

Good menu choice, the food is good too. Might be a little pricey compared to other places but worth a visit. Staff are friendly and service is very good. Nice atmosphere highly recommended.

Excellent food. Lovely surroundings. Great, friendly staff. If I could offer any critique it would be on the service. It can be a little slow at times. Not too often, which is good, but enough to make you wonder if they've forgotten you sometimes.Happily go back, and hope to make it a 5 star review if the service improves just that little bit.

Quaint little place out in the countryside. The car park is a little small but should not cause a problem. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a good selection of beers on tap and a very good menu for food. There is outdoor seating areas for food and drink when the weather is good. Quite but pleasant atmosphere.

About the best place you can go for a quality meal. Everything was 5 stars from the furnishings to the food. Went for my girlfriends birthday and they dressed up the table for us and were very attentive. Most importantly though, the food is outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly with a really nice char on the outside, medium rare inside. I'd recommend the blue cheese and port steak sauce too - it goes great with the parmesan fries. 100% worth the money.
