Hadn't been to the Swan for atleast 6 years was very surprised with the way they had updated it. The food was absolutely amazing, we decided to go for my mums 54th birthday and it was unbelievably, the staff were very friendly and the service was amazing. Rate 5 star will definitely be back
Excellent local pub. Sam Smith's beer is the cheapest you will find, but don't think that means it isn't good quality. Thumbs up for the no swearing policy and real fires.
Needed an overnight stop and this fitted the bill perfectly. Simple, friendly, welcoming. Room was big and clean, with a comfy bed and good shower. Pub grub basic and hearty. Good wine by the glass. Only minor issue was my bedroom window didnt completely close so noise from railway line was louder than it could have been, but this wasnt really a problem. Top place for an inexpensive overnight stop.
